Stanley Omah Dibia professionally known as Omah Lay is a talented Nigerian Afro Fusion artiste.
His new EP, "What Have we done" dropped on November 2020, so here are the 5 things you probably didn't know about the fast rising artiste.
1) Born in Port Harcourt
Omah Lay was born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on May 19, 1997 to a Christian family.
2) His family has always been in music business
Omah Lay was born into a family with deep musical roots.
His grandfather was a percussionist for the legendary highlife singer, Celestine Ukwu until his death in 1976.
His father also took up drumming though he didn't reach the heights of Omah Lay's grandfather, he was a hero.
3) he is signed to Warner music record label.
Omah Lay signed a recording contract with American record label called Warner music Group.
His new EP is his first album under the record label.
Recently Omah Lay was nominated for next rated artiste in Nigeria.
4) His first job was as a cleaner
According to Omah Lay, his first main job was as a cleaner at a recording studio inorder to catapult him around music production.
This was done to study and learn.
5) He Started Singing at Age 15
Omah Lay started his own music career at the age of 15 as a recording music producer and songwriter.
He levelled up to a bigger stage as he drives into music in June 2019.
After he disclosed that he became frustrated after not getting credits for songs he produced and wrote for other people close to him.
