Susan Danis to Remain Florida Grand Opera General Director After Rescinding Acceptance of La Jolla Music Society Leadership

FLORIDA GRAND OPERA announced today that Susan Danis will remain in her role as the company’s general director and CEO after the company previously announced in late July that she would leave FGO to become president and CEO of the La Jolla Music Society.
According to a press release issued today by the company, the La Jolla Music Society and Danis mutually agreed that Danis would rescind her acceptance of the role. LJMS announced that it would resume its search for its next president.
